PostScript driver font file

An .ntf file contains font data for the PostScript printer driver of Windows. The known file is pscript.ntf, which ships in PostScript driver packages. The driver reads the file for font information at print time. Lotus Notes uses the same extension for database templates, which are a different format. The content thus depends on the source.

A file extension is only a part of the file name. It does not give a guarantee about the format or the content of a file. But on Windows, the extension selects the program that opens the file.
