Unicode support data

An .uce file contains character mapping data for East Asian text support on Windows. The system keeps files such as kanji_1.uce, korean.uce, and shiftjis.uce in the System32 directory. Windows uses these tables for Unicode conversion of East Asian encodings. The files are binary and not for manual use.

A file extension is only a part of the file name. It does not give a guarantee about the format or the content of a file. But on Windows, the extension selects the program that opens the file.
